Just look at the Oline and DLine. Playing 25 guys just there. And dominating.

If we can somehow hold on to this staff for one more full year, they will set us up for the next decade. As complimentary as we've been of these guys, we still don't know the true impact that they're having. They are changing the perception and professionalism with which we are associated.

We have 5-7 coaches, maybe more, that will be at P5 schools in the next 2-3 years. We have 3-4 head coaches on staff right now.

    Staff the course. Make history.
During Huds run of good teams, especially the first year, I always felt we were doing it with smoke and mirrors. I honestly couldn’t figure out how we won. I enjoyed it, but it never felt solid.

I have none of those thoughts now. We are winning because we are good.

Thinking about this team on my way back to hotel in Augusta, like this writer, it struck me that this is a "we need it" offense"..they get what they need and just keep churning yards at a fever pace, it's not a very bright lights and glamour group...Defense is the same way, in its own way..not stylish, but the job gets done...amd it's not for lack of talent, there are at least 7 guys on offense and a handful on D that will have the chance to play on Sundays in the future...this team just kicks azzz, one opponent at a time.

I wish a sellout would happen but I predict 22,000 will show up, which is good

We are preaching to the choir and we forget choir is not as large as we would like. That does not means we should not do everything possible to encourage people showing up. It is a challenge however in that we forget sometimes how few people pay attention to anything other than major schools. That being said, if you are even a casual fan you need to find a way to be there. If you live out of town and have tickets, please find a way to make sure your tickets are used. If you have trouble doing so, call the Athletic Department and they may be able to find use for them.

Yeah, based upon recent attendance history I might have a bad case of irrational exuberance. But the Cajuns have flipped the script. WTH, we all talk it up everywhere and with extra promotions who knows?

Excellent point. We won with Hud with a lot of emotion and some lucky bounces. I loved it but like my ex wife it was not sustainable.

This is big boy football. Alabama football with 3 stars rather than 5. Do your job. Trust the system

    This is sustainable

I think we get 28k. There is a buzz around town I haven’t seen in 6-7 years

Deep at WR and RB. Decent depth at LB & DE. I feel we aren’t stacked on the OL or at DT. There are capable backups but the level of play would drop. Definitely not deep at QB and we must hope that Levi stays healthy.
