Villagers in Maurice is better than both.

Plus, that $10 poboy turns into $300 when you consider the ticket you get by driving into the speed trap

Haven't tried the villager, yet, but it's next on my list. Any recommendations?

If the App folks are downtown I'd suggest Pop's, Dwyer's, or Johnson's for lunch.
The French Press is good.....and they know it. The result is they have an over inflated opinion of themself. I Will leave it at that.

Honestly, the years kind of meld together. Because of the NCAA sanctions, the UL fact sheet says the last time the Cajuns were 5-1 was 1988. That's because they can't talk about 2011. I saw that and forgot about 2011. So yes, I've been 6-1 as an announcer. But the NCAA says those games didn't happen LOL

I have been on a Sunday before and they are understaffed. Wait time was terrible and service when we did seat was worse. I've been a couple other times where service was slow as well. You can have great food but if your service is not up to the standard it still affects the experience.

I'll go a step farther. If you're service isn't good in this town, you aren't going to remain in business.

Old Tyme just for the true poorboy shop feel made the way that poorboys were intended and served right over the counter in a little grocery store.
