Some characteristics of the first four games showed up early in UL’s conference opener at Georgia Southern, and one in particular didn’t.

What was new was a huge pass play down the field. On the second play from scrimmage, Levi Lewis hit Bam Jackson on a deep pass running down the left sideline for a 52-yard gain to the Eagles’ 16. Two plays later, the running game was back at it with a 5-yard TD run for Elijah Mitchell

It is a very good thing to be hated. Don’t expect any fans or media supporters of any in state schools to ever call us Louisiana. I bet they are not happy to be forced to call us a very important name after most contests these days, WINNER.

They’re done, 0-2 start in league, nothing but playing out the season left. Can’t wait to watch the Cajuns drill them like a dead tooth next year.

I really don't care what the LC American Press calls us. I am guessing their circulation numbers are below 15,000, and the average age of their subscriber is over 55.

Lots of LA-LAFAYETTE'N going on in Statesboro yesterday, from the Eagles broadcast team (post game crying tome show) to students holding up "honk of you hate LA-LAFAYETTE" signs around campus...and I honked, cause I just hate that moniker...
