Thanks for the update, I hadn’t seen anything pertaining to that.

Gladney is at Angelo State and Davis is at UT Tyler

Thanks I knew Hayes had ended up at Angelo but didn’t know Gladney had as well. In fact I never saw Gladney’s name pop up in the Transfer portal.

Learned some info I did not have about Gladney and Davis in this thread. I do note that the only one who will play D1 ball again is Miller as Detroit Mercy is paying his scholarship in order for him to sit out this year and play only one year for him. It is rare to find a school that will do that. I would not be surprised to see Eli Mouton return next year in a walk on role after his one year in JUCO.

Does anyone think Mouton can really be a difference maker at this level?

He’s can contribute, not a difference maker. Being a contributor can be worth a scholarship depending on how much you contribute.

He’s not a difference maker. I expanded my answer to include my proposition that a player doesn’t have to be a difference maker to still be worthy of a scholarship.

Who said anything about a scholarship? He is not getting a scholarship. I just wonder whether he can even contribute at this level.

Not so, you asked if he was a difference maker. I answered your quarry twice, he's not.

I absolutely have the latitude to expand the question. The reality is that are few difference makers, but lots of role players. Many receive scholarship for their contributions. That's not limited to one player.
