I want some of what this guy is smoking. To put BOTH Ohio and Wisconsin over Clemson and Alabama makes no sense. And, with all due respect to Louisiana and the Sunbelt Conference, to rank our SOS as the 51st strongest in the nation suggests psychosis on the part of Mr. Logan.

Yeah, something is amiss in either his methodologies or his algorithm.

    Algorithms, mathematical pixie dust.

Like anything else math or statistics related, depends on whose doing it, expertise, availibility of data, etc. I was intrigued by a study that use an algorithm to study published cancer research. The algorithm studied word associations from published research from some earlier period. The research studied did not make any predictions about breakthroughs. The algorithm then predicted, based on that study, medical breakthroughs that would later be developed. The amount of breakrthroughs that it predicted was truly astounding.
This guy's work is evidently not of that level.

This guy's work is not level at all.

I noticed the guy picked out Wisconsin's "statement" win over Michigan to "validate" his high ranking for them. The same Michigan team that is ranked 42nd, and barely beat Army (I know Army is no slouch, but it's still Army, 51st in his own ranking.)

The guy clearly has logic issues all the way around.

That’s cool! Can you post a link? I’d really like to read that.

I'm just making a goofy joke, clearly something eggheads don't indulge in. I suppose there's an algorithm for how many goofy jokes actually work and create a small smile.

In today’s world every time someone wants to win an argument they bring up an algorithm study.
