We had a very good time, my son had a good time despite the fact he does not really watch football. He was a trooper and dealt with the heat and ended up having lots of fun.
I was disappointed in the tailgate, it was very quiet with hardly any music being played. My parking lot neighbors didn't even say hello much less offer any food, drink or friendly banter. It was just weird. I had my own beer and blared my Wayne Toups pandora station so no worries.
The stadium was ok. I wish the Cajun's concession pricing followed the team on road games! One pretzel, can of beer and bottle of water just about required a credit check.
I was able to meet some of the players families and they were all very pleasant.
Best part was the game. I thought there were some mistakes but once we got going there was not much doubt in what the final outcome was going to be. Geaux Cajuns!!

Hey Chris,
It was a pleasure doing a quick “tailgate” with you a little before the game! The fans definitely had no southern hospitality at the game.
To everyone reading this. As bad as our fan base and student section can be sometimes looking walking the around the Ohio stadium we are a far better fan base than them. Every single fan including the students sat the entire game.

The fans to me felt very indifferent. The stadium is tiny, so 17k felt like a big crowd, but he Cajuns did a great job keeping them quiet. They didn't have a whole lot to cheer about.
The campus and downtown are beautiful. We spent a lot of time pre and post game at Jackie O's brew house. Good food and brews.
It was great to finally meet Boomer and his lovely wife at the game. I'd say we had about 60-70 fans there.
Love this team. Cajun fans are gonna have a lot of fun with them this year!
Beat GATA! Let's Geaux!!!
The stadium is small. It was parents weekend and I met lots of parents who were at their first Ohio game and who usually pull for OSU so I'm sure that padded their numbers. Their fans were really out of the game and seemed very disinterested. The crowd began to thin out at half and really cleared out by the fourth quarter.
I saw some LSU flags/gear so I asked some of their fans about it. The LSU quarterback is from Athens so they are big LSU fans (mouth puke). Interestingly I heard several fans state they are hoping LSU plays OSU for the championship and they would pull for LSU because of their dedication to the quarterback (more mouth puke).
