They are fundamentally sound enough to have a winning season again this year. We simply had more talent than them yesterday. Some of the credit for that talent should go to Coach Hud/staff for bringing in players like the three backs, Bradley, Hunt, Dotson, Hill, Higgins, Boudreaux etc. Credit goes to Napier/staff for coaching those guys up and improving the depth. Much credit goes to the administration for increasing the resources needed to compete today.
I never participate in game threads while the game is going on because emotion rather than logic comes out. I am also too focused on observing in what is going on during the game to even think of logging on here. My late mother-in-law was an Oklahoma grad and she was always exhausted after watching the Sooners. She explained that she had just played offense and defense. Sometimes I feel that way and that goes for basketball as well.
G is the best color guy for UL football period. That is not a slight to anyone else
Not downplaying IMO, just trying to add context to some overly hyped comments. We did a great job in creating turnovers. Again this week our special teams caused a punt take away. Multiple interceptions. Sure we had them in a death grip, so what? Nobody questions turnovers by Bama when they get people in a death grip.
Ohio could have played a lot better and I think we still win. I don’t know why their QB became very ordinary. Maybe he was anxious about our running game scoring and using up time. Mental pressure is a great thing, and our run game does that.
