A big win on the road next week and App St at home could have the Swamp Rockin!!!
Look if we’re up by 20 pts throw the ball in 1 & 2 down. Otherwise run the ball. It rewards the gratons gang up front for all the work that they do. To incomplete a hurry pass is a punishment for the OLine working so hard.
Our level of talent is clearly improved. We stronger, faster, and fight until the end. The mind set change is evident.
Levi was put into a position in the 1st half to where he had to throw more than we’d like. He didn’t look particularity good doing it. It’s always going to be a concern, it seems. Some throws were down right bad. But, once the running game picked up, he got to a point where he could play to his strength. He played to the offense designed for him and should have had 3 tds.
Levi will not win us games on his own. He just has to not lose them, if that makes sense. Just run the offense and we’ll be fine. Big win today.
Anybody know the last time we won a non conf road game by 20???ever??
Okay. Ohio is behind us. 1-2 Georgia Southern is next. Their opponents combined record? 9-2. Lost a close one to Minnesota. Thrashing by LSU. Beat FCS Maine by 8 pts at home. Need to think clearly.
I get that everyone is starving for a winner here, but I gotta say, some of these posts could be taken right out of tiger droppings in the past. Before the season, if you had said, Cajuns will be 3-1 and beat Ohio by 20 points on the road, I would be smiling from ear to ear.
Our best QB, is average ... when he is playing pretty well. Our kicker can only make XPs. I am extremely frustrated with their play, but I trust Coach Napier. He knows what he has and who gives the Cajuns the best chance at winning. He could be wrong, but to listen to you guys he is either a woefully inept coach and/or terrible at identifying who the best option is at a position ... hence my comparison to Tiger droppings.
Don't accept mediocrity, but also don't expect Napier to make chicken salad out of chicken sh!*.
