That’s how it was in real life as well.

I've seen some really solid things from guys like Andre Jones, Gardner, Garror, Solomon etc. These guys do deserve more recognition.
Fans tend to talk about the plays they see and not the little things around those plays like blocking and running correct routes. Levi has shown major improvement thus far this season and has made plays when it is needed when our back is up against the wall. His leadership is obvious, by the way his teammates respond to him.

On the other hand, Levi is still not comfortable throwing from the pocket and he has problems throwing patterns down the field outside of the Fade Route. And until we win a game against the top teams in this conference I will still have questions that he can do enough within the offense to beat any of them. As far as fans on this board go, some won't give him credit for making plays and others defend him like he's their own son. He is neither Brian Mitchell or Desormeaux. He is Levi Lewis.

40 pages. Best post yet. Except for mine, of course. :-)

    Very profound right there.

I agree. After a shaky start, Fenroy and our oline dominated UH. I think we all though we were witnessing the start of something big. We were wrong.

Well the Lamers were shooting themselves in the foot with lots of unforced penalties. The announcers felt that they were so dominant they were itching to get involved in overtime, but UH players decided they wanted to get on the bus.

I agree with almost all of that except there is almost no one defending Levi like he is their own son. Just people disagreeing with those who say he is terrible. Over and over and over.

Hud had the same philosophy with Haack and Nixon.

Hopefully we see one of the rookies grasp the play book over the offseason we need a true QB to have a special season
This is what I have been saying. To say this sure doesn't make you a LL bandwagoner, just realistic. I also believe that if any of the rookies show more in practice, they will get more playing time.

The true test of Napier would be if LL puts up a 9-3 regular season and say a 10-4 full season. He definitely goes into the offseason as the starter, but do you really have a QB battle. I hope so, as I believe in the offseason, everyone should work to get a starting spot.

Ohio had a lot of run blitzes in the 1H, that staff made good adjustments to for sure.

Levi won’t be back next year.

LOL this is comical there is nothing about LL that's better than Mitchell. He doesn't even deserve to wear his number.
