Acadiana outfielder Ian Montz commits to Louisiana

Although UL baseball coach Matt Deggs is still recruiting the current crop of senior high school prospects, the first-year coach took the time to diligently pursue Acadiana High junior outfielder Ian Montz, who committed to the Cajuns earlier this week.

I didn't know Christy was from STM. Also, did Hayden make his de-commitment public because I heard that Deggs had contacted all commits and all but one stayed committed to the program?

Don't know how public it was but do know in fact it happened.

Edit: the decomit period might have been between the time that Robe passed and the time Deggs was able to get with him and his parents after being hired for the job. So both my statement and Deggs’ statement could be correct.
