Buckley is horrible. He tries to get clicks by being “edgy” rather than just doing is job well and taking pride in it, like Luke and Dan McDonald did.

Lazy hack. From the constant Robe vs Lotief DUI articles, to constantly keeping the Trump locker room ____ in the papers, to lazy clickbait junk like this.

Foote has moved on. Luke and the guy now in TX will continue to move on to bigger and better should they choose. Buckley will be stuck as a cheap Gannett writer because he’s lazy and cheap himself.

AGREED. Parrot had/has a relentless work ethic like I have never seen. Luke is, IMO, a flat out supertalent. We were lucky to have him. I don't know what the ceiling is in sports writing, but if Luke wants it....he will get there. He loves Louisiana and that might be the only thing that limits his climb to superstardom. I remember watching David Begnaud at 18 yrs old and thinking he was talented enough to be like Dan Rather someday. Now he is a high profile CBS correspondent. As a writer, Luke Johnson is in that category.

This guy is hilarious. In one paragraph, he states how he understands of not piling on the points and "embarrassing" the opponent any further. Yet shortly after that, he complains how "Is it fair that they didn't get the chance to break 106 points for the all time record?" Hahaha! Hypocrite.

Also for the record, Kevin did push for getting them to use Louisiana, but it was Ragin' Cajuns Sports Properties that got them to change. Brian Bille and Patrick Judice, not sure which one, got them as a sponsor and that was the agreement.
