What does not make sense is this ...

I have ESPN through YouTube TV ... and I also subscribe to ESPN+ (could not do that if I did not have YouTube TV), yet YouTube TV is not considered an affiliated provider? Really? How exactly is that? If YouTube is not an "affiliated provider", how am I receiving ESPN with the option of purchasing ESPN+?
