Don’t know why they would say that. Everybody expects him to be back for at least a few more seasons.

And you just validated "where they lose"

We live in an era where Loyola University at Chicago and a nun took over the entire country during their trip to the FINAL FOUR...

We live in an era where something called the UMBC Retrievers knocked off the #1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament...

We live in an era where BUTLER went to back-to-back NATIONAL championship games..

We live in an era where UALR, in one year, went from a door mat to destroying the SBC, walking through the conference tournament, and then winning their first round game in the dance. Almost won the second.

I'm sick and god damned tired of hearing the excuses of why we CANT...

All these other nobody basketball programs could.. But we still CANT.

All of that is true, but I can give you a ton more examples of universities more like us with more similar results or worse than us. you are correct about everything you stated, but those are the exceptions not the rules. Oh and by the way LR went from first to worst over night again.

Their are many more examples of our results or worse than the couple you listed above.

Well, the next question should be “why?” Why can’t we join the ranks of what they’ve accomplished?

What I get sick and tired of hearing from the staff and the loyalists are justifications for the way we underachieve. This article ranks us as the top program of the league, yet we don’t show much from it. And then, there’s people in the background telling us why it’s the way it is and why that’s ok. I think this is what MAT’s referring to.

Get the Verm to put LaChelle on it. Sorry, couldn’t pass it up.

I’m trusting Maggard to have this as one of his priorities since football OOC scheduling is pretty much done for the years to come, and on all fronts the coaching situations are not in flux.

I had someone on the staff recently tell me they know last year was "not good enough". They think we can do better moving forward.

Maybe an invite to the student tailgate and a cupon

That response might deserve two cupons

    Good. As they should.

But at the same time, one of the assistant coaches called it a “great season” after getting bounced out of the conference tournament to the #8 seeded team. So, I can see why a good number of fans feel the way they do about the program, which is apathetic.
