He was clutch in that drive which was the most important of the game. That gave us the lead at halftime and we were able to play "make it, take it" with another touchdown after the second half kickoff.

He was big at the biggest point in the game.
I'm actually kind of surprised by some and how much they still bash him. I'm not a LL loyalist but it sounds that way because I continuously find myself defending him especially when its still unclear as to how much talent we truly have at the WR position. We are playing a number of freshmen and I never thought we'd need to do that and Bradley is our only proven commodity at this point.

I get that he's not going to be the best passer we've had here but I'm surprised as to how many people don't give him any credit for the positive plays and drives he does make.

There will be competition for the position in 2020.

And, I think the competition comes from the two freshmen.
LL, I believe, will graduate before the 2020 season and leave/transfer.

When he came here he said he was coming for an education and was going to complete that in three years.

Yup. That was Huds reason for pulling his redshirt.

Its intellectually dishonest to watch this team play and say we’re better than average at QB.

Between the two games played, we’ve left 30+ points on the field, turned the ball over 5-6 times and can’t hit the homerun ball when receivers are open by 10 yards. You can not win consistently, especially against teams like Ohio, App St and Troy with these issues.
The only position I've seen leaving that many points on the field is the kicker.

I don’t see much “bashing”. I see people asking legitimate questions, for the most part.

I assume, people give him little credit because of the system, and how Napier has proven to set players up for success. Nunez was a great example of taking someone with limited ability and getting the most out of them.

People expect a certain level of success with this coaching staff. Fair or not, that’s going to work against any QB.

Guys first snap in 2 years with the second unit vs a 3rd year junior over throwing an all sunbelt WR

Regardless of if you think LL is great or terrible, I think we can all pretty much agree that the passing game has got to improve in order to be a complete team.

LL played pretty good. His glaring weakness is
Downfield passing. Which in turn becomes a major weakness for the Cajuns.

He missed some TD strikes through the game. If he can get that worked out I’d say we could be the favorite in the SBC.

I'm in the same boat. LL has played well in my opinion. I see a QB playing better than what we seen at the position last season.

We have backups that have never taken a D1 snap who people feel are the savior. I believe the freshman QBs will both be above average QBs but they are not that today.
