As I respect your opinion my opinion is we would have won the game had we had average quarterback play. I always hear how good of a QB coach/developer Napier is. I was embarrassed by LL play today. We recruited 4 yes 4 QB this year for a reason. if LL is the best we have then I have to question our ability to recruit a decent QB. But not to worry in the next two weeks we will play teams that will not be able to stop our three headed monster in the backfield so we will be able to hide LL until the fourth game. IMO it was like watching HUDism all over again hard headed coach that won't pull his QB. If no one else is capable lets us know so we can lower expectation.

What more do you need to have your expectations lowered? Napier has never intimated that there was a QB battle this season. He said Levi was #1 and would get 100% of the snaps. I will say it AGAIN. Levi is not the most talented QB on the team, but he is the most ready, right now, from reading Napier’s comments.

Napier’s opinion is the only one that matters. There isn’t a poster on RP who doesn’t want our Cajuns to be successful, but As of now, I trust Napier’s QB and overall player evaluation over anyone on here.

He is my coach, he will make mistakes, but he is going to be right a whole lot more than he is wrong.

If Levi has a 2+ turnover game against the rest of our schedule, he cannot beat the majority of our schedule. To be fair, this is true of the other QBs on our roster.

I agree, I expect his numbers to improve vs the rest of our schedule.

Wow!! Are you part of the group calling for the backup before the season even started? Dude made his first career start against and sec team who led the country in total defense last year, I know they lost a lot, and he did a good job. Few weird plays and a bad decision at the start. Go back and count how many sacks and tfl he got out of and made a plus play.

Don’t worry we can hide our middle school Qb the next two weeks HUD made mistakes did you rush to his defense. This was our day to beat the SEC but we chose pride over team.

You just lost me. Nunez would have gotten hit sacked 7-8 times and thrown 2/3 ints. Probably fumbled one from the blindside hit. Nunez started against 2 sec schools last year. We didn’t win either game.

I think Levi will be just fine. Like I said, he will get blamed for the losses reguardless, and he will take the blame cuz he’s a leader. But receivers have to get open and lineman have to block. No QB performance is solely on the QB.

If bama played MSU today with Levi as their QB. Bama wins by 30.
