Most on this thread have focused only on the negatives and obvious mistakes made by the team. But I saw as many, or more, positives in the game. Most coaches will tell you that the most improvement usually takes place between the first and second or third games. This team is much improved over last year and I expect this to be a very good year at the end.

Was Bradley as far up the field as he was supposed to be? Maybe not( and if he caught it he would have been blown up. Should have run it there) and no one mentioned the 5 or 6 plays he kept alive with his feet. He has a good clock in his head and eludes the rush well. I haven't seen any other QB on the roster, but have to think more sacks would have occurred if Levi wasn't playing. He has poise and is a leader. If our offense would have had the cushion theirs did Levi would have thrown for 400 haha. Let's win 13 in a row
As I respect your opinion my opinion is we would have won the game had we had average quarterback play. I always hear how good of a QB coach/developer Napier is. I was embarrassed by LL play today. We recruited 4 yes 4 QB this year for a reason. if LL is the best we have then I have to question our ability to recruit a decent QB. But not to worry in the next two weeks we will play teams that will not be able to stop our three headed monster in the backfield so we will be able to hide LL until the fourth game. IMO it was like watching HUDism all over again hard headed coach that won't pull his QB. If no one else is capable lets us know so we can lower expectation.

Embarrassed? Please explain. What was so embarrassing today by Levi?

All in all I'm glad I went to the game. I think our players represented us well and I had pleasant experiences mixing with the Mississippi State fans. I know this is our 1,000th moral victory, but I'm happy I came to NOLA.

We LOST. I'm not happy nor morally pleased.

When I'm sitting here watching a putrid program like Georgia State make Tennessee's sphinter tighten up in the fourth quarter with a 35-23 lead under 5 and we're have people talking about the positive plays in another moral victory, something is wrong.

Trash the ULMs of the world, they have multiple wins over the SEC while we look down from our 0-45 perch.

So soccer ties their match in the last three seconds of their match, volleyball gets shut out by a SLC team and football loses.

Does the bell ring for moral victories? Might need some WD-40 since it has not rung since the spring.

Meanwhile Georgia State is up on Tennessee, in Knoxville, 28-23 in the 4th.

You are never 8-points away from victory with 3-minutes left, without a lot of positives to point at.

    So I agree.

Unless you are being evaluated by the wisdom of RP posters.

We are a young team with the whole roster damn near turned over since Naps took over. I personally think my original prediction of 8 and 4 should be more like 9 and 3. I saw alot of positives and fight in our guys. We hired the right guy as we have better talent on the field.
