That's such a poor excuse, other G5 teams and even FCS teams get QB's that are very good, so good that they get drafted in the NFL. I'm not buying it. I heard Napier use that stupid excuse on the radio the other day, saying if LL was 6'2" he wouldn't be at UL. That is total crap.

You need to find a p5 school to pull for.

I think we will be ok. Coach said we all can improve, including the coaches. I know there are no moral victories but we have been imbaressed by SEC teams in the past. Today we competed.

I think their sloppy play left the ripe for the upset. Our own sloppy play prevented that. Takeaway the turnover, I think they ran the ball more effectively and would have beat us. We held our own though.

And that's the operative word. We competed and now playing the what if game. Better QB play would have been a game changer but this game is done. On to Liberty.

I'm not one to talk about moral victories, but I'm not leaving this game too upset. We didn't look inferior nor did we play scared like in the past. TOs did us in. We win that game w/o them. The defense looks improved and I think Lewis is serviceable. I'm ____ed we lost, but this team will be good.

Sorry to attack. This game was a few plays from a W. Last years was a few years from a W. It’s not a moral victory but to not see positives is idiotic. I’m sure everyone sees them, some here just like to live in the negative. All good, to each his own.

I post many positives, when I see them. I'm also going to post negatives when I see them and I'm not happy with our QB situation and I'm not going to stop posting about it until I see we have a QB that warrants postitives. It's the most important position on the team and It's frustrating to not see us getting better there. I'm still hoping Napier can eventually do it, no proof as of yet.

Yeah, like, I know Lewis got off to a particularly rough start, but as the game went on he got better, and he generally made good decisions. Some people are acting like he went Van Cleave and threw 6 picks or something. I'm still interested to know what else we have at the position because I want every possible upgrade we can get, but he played well enough for me to believe he can win us some games in the conference at least.
