Yes, we lost 4 seniors, 3 of which were huge pieces in Milligan, Comeaux and Gremillion and also pitcher Deville, but you replace them with:

All American Gliest replaces your #4 pitcher in Deville
and the 3 position players are replaced by an Oregon player, 2 players from Mizzou and a JUCO transfer from Miami Dade County in, Carusso, Martin, Mayeux and Torres.

Who are we thinking could be our leadoff to swipe bases? Raina O’Neal has a nice combination of speed and power.

If we stay healthy, this could be our year.

We were dark horses to win it all when they though Kliest would be playing

Don't think they're going to play small ball this year. Glasco said he wants power hitters one through nine. That's the type of player he is recruiting and the way he's building his team. That's how he plans to win a national championship.

POWER HITTING and PITCHING. Recipe for a natty.

I absolutely love Glasco, and I support this strategy. As long as he understands as the 3rd base coach, he can't be windmilling all of these power hitters home on a single to the OF.

Having a few fast, aggressive runners who can help manufacture runs when the power hitters are struggling doesn’t mean you’re playing small ball.

Again, someone like Raina has plenty speed to swipe bases (not at the excessive rate that Milligan did), but also plenty power. She showed both off great last season.
