  1. UL Football Louisiana to Kick Off 2019 Season August 31 on ESPNU

Louisiana Football's season opener against Southeastern Conference opponent Mississippi State has been designated for a national broadcast and will air on ESPNU on Saturday, August 31 at 11am Central Time

The opener is the fourth nationally-televised game on the Ragin' Cajuns' schedule, which includes a primetime showdown on ESPN2 against Appalachian State on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and two other appearances on ESPNU at Arkansas State (Thursday, Oct. 17) and at Coastal Carolina (Thursday, Nov. 7).

Louisiana also announced two kickoff times for its early non-conference slate, with the Liberty (Saturday, Sept. 7) and Texas Southern (Saturday, Sept. 14) games kicking off at 6:30 p.m. CT. Those contests will be broadcast on ESPN+ and ESPN3, respectively.

Currently, nine of the Ragin' Cajuns' 12 games will be shown on the ESPN Family of Networks, with the four nationally-broadcast games being the most in the Sun Belt.

I like the idea of September home games starting at 6:30 instead of 6. That half hour sees the sun go down some which allows students a little relief.

I hope the alumni association puts together a bus trip. With high school jamborees the night before it’s gonna be hard for me to get out on Friday. A bus ride there and back would be nice.

Does anyone know how the TV Revenue will be split for this game? I heard the ticket sales are something like 60/40 UL but we pay all expenses.

    Default Bus to NOLA

Are there any buses taking fans to NOLA next Saturday? I thought I remember seeing something a while back but can't find any info on it now. My FIL now had a ticket and doesn't want to drive alone.

I called the alumni association about a month ago and they are not having a bus trip.
