I don't believe that is true. I think they have to guarantee all seats are sold or pay the costs of those seats. In the past, many bus trips lost money for the association.

That is absolutely correct! Many people give the Alumni Association grief for not "doing anything"; well if they "get" a bus they are paying for it and hoping enough people will sign up to go. And they have to guarantee it at least a week in advance. They have gotten a bum rap by way to many "fans" that can't decide that far in advance to justify even one bus.

So, I'm just setting the record straight. We love taking the susses on trips but many times there aren't 40 others that want to. Those numbers need to be better.

I did not know the AA's objective was to make money. They collect dues to market and promote Alumni engagement. When you have over 90% Alumni not giving back, the current way of doing things is not working!

Need 20, have none. I will step out there and say this is a bit of an under achievement.

We should have at least 10 buses going!!!! But we have none. Sounds like USL to me.

Our fan base as a whole just plain sucks!

Back in May couldn't the AA put out a feeder on getting a count on who wanted to go on buses. Have them pay in advance. If you have enough to fill three buses then hire three. Hire each bus as you get the money to fill each. The first forty if that's the limit get the first bus and so on......
