Is the university promoting buses for students to attend the game? If not, why not? They can bus in for the game and be back after. Easy travel, inexpensive trip, great support, fun road trip for students.

What about party buses for any fans from Lafayette to New Orleans?
The way things are shaping up for the Miss St game in NOLA, it looks like we'll really showcase just how small time Cajun football is. There's just not enough of us die hard fans to ever move the needle enough to get over the hump. We'll never be a part of the big time in college football, but then again, neither will Tulane, USM, La Tech, or countless other G5 programs.
Does anyone think that if it was completely free for students that we could draw up enough interest to get a group there?
My thoughts would be each person interested in contributing to the project could buy a set of 10 tickets at $10 each (would have to get university’s permission to buy these tickets at the student rate since they will ultimately go to students). Get a local business and RCAF donor to sponsor the busses. Not saying this could happen now, but if it were put together a month or two back with the university reaching out to certain donors?
......What is shaping up as a problem for all is that women are overtaking men in the % of the college-educated work force.....as less males have that academic tie to a university, surely the interest level will overall show up as less attendance......I remember the days that women went to college to get a MRS.———-well some did! Lol
It's labor day weekend, campus empties out...
I know I will take some heat for speaking positively of ULM for a quick minute, but when they hosted CIT games this past year in basketball, the university’s other coaches really stepped up by purchasing tickets for students. I would love to see something similar from Marlin, Deggs, Glasco, etc.
The alumni association should line up some yellow buses with free food and drink for students. Can’t be that expensive.
Back in the day, we'd just rent a U-Haul, shove a few couches in the back, a keg or two, with 25 close friends, and boom, you're taking the Champaign flight to nola...pre game on wheels, and bring the bail money!
