I think we stumble a little bit out of the blocks and finish strong.

I also predict the Liberty game will look a lot like the coastal game last year. The game we all look back on as the one we should’ve won and just wet the bed.

It's good to see Cajun Disaster Syndrome is alive and well.

Hard to lose that mentality when 90% of the opportunities to change the direction of the program we fail miserably. If we come out of the gate 3-1 this season could be special. We could also be 1-3.

Unfortunately, we have had our share of let down games over the past few years; so it’s understandable to see why it’s possible.

In case anyone's forgotten or just doesn't know, Liberty did beat Troy last year... They're not a pushover.

Liberty also beat Baylor a few years ago in Waco. Granted, Baylor went 1-11 that year, but it’s still a win over a P5.

Looks like in the past we have mainly gone with big $ payoff as opposed to higher chance % of a W in our P5 scheduling.

I don’t really think my prediction is negative enough to classify me as having CDS. 7-5 isn’t anything to be ashamed about. I think we are one year away from a huge uptick in the win department. Thinking back to the 2-3 win seasons that I’ve lived through, 7 wins is a great thing to accomplish, and potential to win 10-11 games next season really has me amped up. I’m most concerned about how good the offensive line will be next year, losing almost every starter. If we have some good young talent there, next year will be special.

For this year, I’m just going to appreciate it for what it is, and if we win more than 7, I’ll be happy to eat some crow.
