Also noticed when going through schedules that 2 MWC have 13 games scheduled next year and Rice played 13 last year. Anybody know what the deal is with that or if more teams will be doing this going forward?

Rice did last year, and Hawai’i was one of the ones playing 13 next year. New Mexico is the other, and they do play at Hawai’i.

It all makes sense, except how does Miami and Florida play this early. Neither plays Hawaii and I can't an opponent for either one that plays in Hawaii either.
