Hope he's not giving away our game plan.

I would think this could be a definite possibility. The kid has to be down; transferring may be the only thing to keep him in football.

    Wishing him the best.

As a layman it seems like broken feet, and feet problems end many careers, especially after multiple breaks.

But Ole Miss and Miss St are in the same state, so they should be best friends right and sharing information?

Conference foes that hate each other

I can see him wanting to get a fresh start given all of the injuries. If he’s sitting out the year anyway, he’s not missing any additional time

Or maybe Ole Miss is where he always wanted to go to school and just going there and not playing football any longer.
Maybe he has a gf there.

Who knows, but I wish him the best of luck, as he sure hasn't had much of it in the last few years.

Very unfortunate circumstances for the kid and very unfortunate circumstances for UL as it appears that there was very much promise for him to help our team this year.

If his career is over he is going finish school with alot of his friends from Mississippi, if it isn’t over he is going play in the SEC. It makes sense to me

I think we all have to remember that Chase considered transferring last year, Napier convinced him to stay. I think this move makes sense for the kid if he is going to have to sit out next year and see if he can play at all.

I think we will be fine, Lumpkin will probably be back hopefully early and we have Ralston to hold down the position until then.
