Have any player tweeted about this. I'm curious what they have to say.
I saw TJ Wisham's tweet but nothing from other players

Are people really griping about these guys giving $0.96 a week? It costs more than that to get a soda from a vending machine.
Skip the soda, take a few sips from the water fountain, and donate your $50. It’s good for your health! 😂
In my humble opinion, if a Saban, Sabo or similar had made this move at their P-5 power universities, ESPN would be lapping it up like mother's milk.
It is my understanding that all coaches on the football team are required to be RCAF donors. They are putting their money in the game.
A lot of people attacking Napier on this issue (not on here) and his character. I don't have any problem saying I support Coach Napier 100 percent on this and what he is trying to do. The way it was taken by many was out of context. He needs to know he hasn't lost our confidence in him and this is in no way compared to anything Coach Hud's staff did. Not event close. He hasn't done anything wrong, just his technique was rough around the edges. He will learn.
What I was trying to communicate is that Napier should have announced how much he is giving to RCAF, if he is giving...that was the point, rather than only announcing he was giving to his former school.
His method of teaching is similar to the one used in many corporations for the annual United Way campaign... you want to give, don't you!
And if you don't give I will give ($1) for you so we can achieve 100% giving on the team. (Companies use to encourage $1 giving to be at 100%, but some still employees still refused because they didn't like the intimidation in the selling or the United Way.)
That's the way it was perceived.
PS I'm sorta old so don't smoke, but do drink.
All of our coaches are RCAF members.
This thread is a great example of how the same posters that just don’t get it, continue to not get it.
To you guys supporting Napier, the players and the lesson... Keep it up. It’s not a shock as to which posters are supporting... The same guys who continually put the athletic department, players and coaches, supporters first. The same posters I see at every major event, backing up their words with their actions and wallets.
Keep pushing back men. Even if it’s an extra $10, if you guys can, let’s sponsor these guys who are standing up for us and for coach.
At what level of giving are the football coaches? $50 too?
I wonder why that (level) was not announced to the media and used as a selling point.
That would have strengthened the argument ... leadership by example in action.
