Well, that's one way to get the school's name out there.

What a bunch of dumbarses commenting on there. Evidently they don't get it. Everyone has arseho... I mean opinion on ____ even if they don't have a clue what they're commenting on.
Well for starters the RCAF is not an alumni fund, but it does (in one sentence) highlight and magnify what many here have said here since day one.
The importance of having a completely separate entity running the Ragin' Cajuns Athletic Foundation.
Perception (rightly or wrongly) is holding the foundation hostage.
Good PR is truth well told...this is the first fumble of the year...
I don't see what the big deal is. This is not a condition of their scholarship. It's encouraging athletes to begin participating in a foundation that supports them.
Whoever came up with the argument that unpaid players are forced to pay into this is silly. When you think about it, these athletes are getting full or partial help paying for their education. Given that fact, are we (at least those who did not attend UL on scholarships) weird ones for continuing to give to the university in the manner and amount that we do considering WE had to pay for school?
LSpoop fans, ulmost, La turds seem to be in uproar on twitter over our name!!! heart attacks, strokes abound
Media, even sports news, will spin a story to suit their narative...school demands poor football players spend what little $ they have to support big bad universary...more fake news..having said that, this universary should have been out in front of this...just made it too easy for media to spin it..
The players voted on it
Another thing:

Billy Napier made $850K last year as Louisiana's head coach. If he donated $50 on behalf of every scholarship player on his roster, that'd be $4,250.
And Napier would be left with a salary of $845,750.
Friday is always a good day for crap to hit the fan.. come Monday something else will take its place. But players voting should be up front
Is Clint domingue a lspoop supporter?
This is a stupid distraction. Move on and the story will be gone by tomorrow.
I think the news attention is actually good. I don’t think the issue itself is that bad really. It can be modified or completely recalled, or not at all and we received our 2nd national news story of the summer. Getting that name out there!
