    This was the write up for Robert Hammond after he signed with Florida State:

    ROBERT HAMMOND, FS 6-3, 185, FR., OPELOUSAS, LA (OPELOUSAS HS)-
    Considered one of the premiere defensive backs in the country ... exhibits an aggressive, hard hitting style of play ... a 4A all-state selection each of the post two seasons ... regarded as the top safety in the country ... selected to Blue Chip Illustrated's Dream Team ... a first team All-USA selection by USA Today ... wrote a weekly diary for USA Today on his recruitment ... played wing back as well as safety, starting for three years ... recorded 172 tackles, 81 solo ... intercepted five passes and forced five fumbles, four of which he recovered ... led Opelousas to a 27-8 record, three district championships and three trips to the playoffs ... clocked a 4.5 time in the 40 ... caught 30 passes for over 700 yards ... earned a 3.5 GPA ... ran track and averaged 22 points per game in basketball ... also named to the Sports South all-South team and the Schutt Top 100 ... FSU topped such schools as Michigan, Notre Dame, Alabama, Texas A&M, Stanford and Florida for his services.

    All those accolades and NOT one mention of him playing RB.

    Don’t remember kids name, but QB from Neville about 10-13 years ago, signed with Ole Miss...he threw about a 60 yard pass down the sideline against STM in the playoffs and the WR never had to break stride...probably the prettiest pass I’ve witnessed in person.

    That’s Matt Lane, he ended up a TE at Ole Miss.

    Didn't remember him playing RB, but okay.

    WB was basically a RB in their offense.

    It’s been a few years but that’s what I remember.

    BTW, the best RB I ever saw was Johnny Hector. Crazy talent. Also, Derwin Antoine was special. Not great size but the cat could run. We were scouting for the EHS coaching staff that year and saw him play quite a few times. The staff knew he would be a challenge when they faced him.
