With Cole Prudhomme (offseason ACL surgery) out for at least the season’s first two games, UL coach Billy Napier on Friday said former walk-on Shane Vallot – the Comeaux High product now on scholarship – has continued to get most of UL’s first-team reps at center since camp opened.

He also said Luke Junkunc, a redshirt freshman from Strake Jesuit in Houston, “takes a lot of reps at center with the second group.”
