isnt sitting out of games because of transfer rule different than being ineligible? thought transfers could still practice

When Hawkins came visit in the spring he was thinking he was going to juco and visiting for next year. Napier asked why not just come in now. I would assume coach felt good about the appeal considering the situation.

I think it's more hopefulness than expectation, for me anyway. We really, really, need an above average passing QB. I hope that person is on the team now, becomes our starter soon and has that position locked up. It's been a long time coming.

You people could suck the life out of Jesus himself. Just shut up and have some fun. WE GOT BETTER WHEN THIS DECISION CAME DOWN.

Sure, and he also said he would be getting more reps with the first group. He has been relegated as a back up from day one because of his status. Now we will see what he can do with the first unit reps going forward.

IMO this ruling took Lewis off the 2 deep.

I think everyone is happy. It's just tough putting high expectations on a kid who hasn't played a down and hasn't practiced significantly at this level yet. Nobody knows what to expect if and when he hits the field.

You know Napier is not going to do that at this point. We will find out a lot about Napier this year with the way he handles this situation now that the competition has been raised.

Curious to see if this might be like a Jake Delhomme type situation. Let Lewis play until he proves he’s not capable then put the freshman in. Although with Levi it probably won’t be the first half of the first game.

Why would Napier reveal his hand right nowet Moo State practice for a mobile QB with very little throwing ability
