I like the kid but as I said, "intangibles" will only get you soo far. Levi is not Kyler Murray, he's got a "High School" QB arm and truth be told not the "great athlete" some people think he is. His best throws are those "floaters" down the field that seem to hang in the air forever (can you say pixs are coming). There's a big deference between being a "change of pace" QB and a starter, this team is far too talented for Lewis to be under center for the majority of the snaps. If Napier is going to be stubborn about it he could dig a hole that we won't be able to climb out of.

This has nothing to do with liking Levi or not. Based upon every report and all information available, Levi is #1 and #2 isn't that close ... right now. So to say Magalei will be getting 'the majority of the snaps from here on out, beginning is the 2nd quarter of Mississippi State game" is an awful bet, hence why I offered to bet you money.

All I care about is winning (assuming we are putting athletes out there that don't embarrass the University and the city). By all accounts, that is Levi right now, and I don't think it changes after one quarter of football. Is the most talented in that QB room right now ... nope, but he is the best one we got.

We likely won’t know until after the Liberty game where we stand at QB. If past performance against the SEC is any indication, the safe bet is on none of our qbs looking good this weekend. Wait until after liberty to beat your chest about how bad Levi is.

We don't have a pass protection problem; we have a decision making problem at QB if Lewis is in the game.
