As the Ragin’ Cajuns prepare to open their 2019 preseason camp Friday, some storylines already have developed.

The battle to back up quarterback Levi Lewis is one, with juco-transfer Jai’ave Magalei, true freshmen Chandler Fields and Clifton McDowell and — if the NCAA rules he does not have to sit out this year after spending last season at Maryland — transfer Brayden Hawkins all in the mix.
