Of course that could have definitely changed. That was this past February

2021 is the first year we go to 8 conference series (6 non-conf)
Personally I think starting baseball on Feb. 14 is a little early as weather can still be cold. I thought it always started on the third February Friday which would be 2/21. I guess it is an exception in 2020 due to an early Memorial Day. I just hope we are still playing come June.

Fans rarely like promoting from within. No splash to it, doesn’t bring the NEW-coach excitement. If he produces and wins those fans current opinions won’t matter. Same as with a brand new coach, if he doesn’t win that excitement is gone real fast.

Add to the fact that their ERA last season was awful and Sirianni was/is their pitching coach sure doesn't help. If they were coming off that trip to the Supers and had really good pitching, they would be singing a much different tune.

Last season was there first season that Sirianni was there that they had a bad era. All the other seasons they have been very good.

Correct, that is my point. It is all recency bias. Fans have a very short memory.
