Question for ya. When it comes to the 3 sports you call, how would you rank them in how well you call each sport? I’m sure you think and know that you call one better than the other.

Honestly, that's for others to decide. I will say I love baseball and am more knowledgeable in that sport than the others. Whether that makes me better at that sport or not is a matter of opinion.

I think you should pen a book about Robe with Babs help. Maybe a foreward by Deggs? The pieces that you have wrote lately about Coach Robe have been very GOOD. You should give your self some credit for your writing skills. I think Robe story needs to be told, work wide. Maybe even put the profits toward some kind of scholarship. Just think about it!!!

I have been approached about writing a book. I think if I would do that, I don't think it would be about just one person. Obviously, my relationship with Tony would take up a large part of the book. But, there are many other stories to tell...........

I'm certainly giving it some thought. Probably more so now than ever.

Im sure the company that Deggs used for his book could help out. His sorry needs to be told and You and Bab knew Coach as much as any family. This would be a good read and I know you would do a great job with this.

Deggs has announced coaching roles. Per Buckley in the DA:

"While deciding Babineaux will continue in the off-the-field role he assumed last season, focusing on fundraising and community relations in addition to day-to-day operations of the program, Deggs also has assigned on-field responsibilities for his staff.

Deggs himself will oversee UL’s offensive efforts and coach third base. Recruiting-coordinator Talbot will coach first base, serve as bench coach and coordinate the Cajun defense. Wells will oversee hitters and catchers, and assist with recruiting. And Ryan will coach pitchers while also assisting with on-campus recruiting efforts."
