...misty eyes/tears....at a loss of thoughts.....so many so lucky to have played, coached, or worked with him.....I feel lucky just having known him...RIP!

The word “great” gets thrown around way too much in our society, and while he was an excellent baseball coach, he was truly a great man and a great example of how to be a man.

I am heartbroken for Cajun nation, but more importantly for his family. Prayers and peace for them.
