Thread: Louisiana Fans Love New Standard for Concession Prices

  1. UL Football Louisiana Fans Love New Standard for Concession Prices

Football Bowl Subdivision attendance fell for the seventh time in eight seasons in 2018 to 41,856 fans per game, the lowest mark in the past 22 seasons. The usual culprits were blamed in what has become an annual bout of soul-searching: HDTVs give fans a better view of the game, stadium WiFi stinks, tickets and parking are too expensive, students care less about their schools’ teams, etc.

Maggard is hitting on all cylinders.

This national advertising for the school is better than a bowl game and can't be bought. Basically its priceless.

Right now Louisiana has the stage to themselves and even if they share the stage in some articles. They still own the stage with no other sports competion.

This is pretty cool. You can’t help but be encouraged if your university is the trailblazer for anything good like this.

What I'm thinking come spend your money and hopefully most wear a black or red shirt.

Most of the butt head fans are the people that never went there or college to being with

Our program will happily take their $$$ it's all about the green. Butts in seats help us even if satan himself, which I'm pretty sure wears purple and nacho cheese, attends.

How much will this impact attendance?

Do you think the University will still make $?

Will people still find a way to criticize this part of the game day experience?

They just need to do another big press push right before the season to remind everyone, this will be old news In a few weeks.
