Hey Bommer, you'll like this quote from an ECU fan over on the SBC Board....

Wow you guys have Shrimp & Grits, you guys want to join the AAC? Man those are good prices and the food sounds really good. Compare to ECU concessions where $10.00 gets you a dry hot dog maybe a small bag of chips and a coke. For $20.00 my son and I can eat like kings at your place, compare to ECU where $20.00 gets you no where.
This was a freakin' home run by Maggard.

This dude is a hoot at parties, i'm guessing.

  5. Default If You Offer Cheap Beer, They Will Come

Nothing seems to spur interest in an event like cheap beer! From dollar beer night at minor league ballparks to ladies nights at clubs, the lure of cheap alcohol is unmistakable! In highly academic terms, befit for a strategic management consultant and professor like myself, I can safely attest that the such a promotional strategy always seems to work — at least in one regard. Yes, cheap beer and cheap food may get folks in the door. However, what really matters is the next step in the process: Can you convert that “I’m just here for the cheap nachos” prospect into a true fan — and repeat customer — for your business. And make no mistake about it, college sports are a big, and yes, a challenging business today.

I hope this is marketed well to students. I would have ate this up as a student. Pun intended! I think with this deal and tailgating being moved closer to the stadium, we will see a significant increase in student attendance. Let the good times roll!

Good times will roll in the student section when the Pecan Patrol Gestapo backs off and the stadium gets better broadband access (that's what I understand)
