I love it, but one question, how is a can beer the same size as a draft beer less expensive, seriously not complaining, just wondering
    ETA: with regards to domestics.

$2 16 oz beers? Cajun field, where the beer flows like wine.

Don’t know the brand yet and hopefully it’s to get people to buy cans so it moves faster

No behind the counter spillage costs

As happy as I am about these prices, what I am more excited about is that Maggard jumped on this trend so quickly. There are only a handful of schools incorporating this strategy and we are one of them. In the past, I often felt we were the last to the table at almost everything.

Not only are we on the front side of this trend, our pricing looks much more "fan friendly" than other athletic programs incorporating this strategy.

Probably less labor factored in and easier handling and storage

From what I was told by one of the volunteers working concessions. The beer is left in those portable coolers un-iced between games and get re-iced on game day.

Yeah... I don't think you can do that with kegs. At least not with the hoppier craft beers if you want them to taste fresh

    Cans are a different story

I think you will find that is a misprint. Should be Domestic cans and not Craft cans. Or it is 12 oz. craft cans.

I don't know of any craft brewers who are doing 16 oz. cans.

16 oz craft cans is actually the norm for the higher end craft beers.

I can post pics from my beer fridge later today. I know Cajunrunner can back me up here

He might, but he knows beer and would know that 16 oz cans are the norm for higher end craft beer

FTR, the $4 craft cans at the games probably won't be the higher end stuff that I'm referring to. I’m just pointing out that 16 oz is commonplace
