A former commitment to a Big XII school intends to play his Division I college football for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.

Mekhi Williams-Garner, a safety from Navarro (Texas) College has verbally committed to Louisiana.

He should be, if he is coming from a Juco. Grades shouldn't be a problem, Navy offered him a scholly.

....Did we offer the Tre Sylvester kid from Br Bridge....looked like the Hs coach loved Tech and the kid said he was going to the 2nd best FB program in the state....don’t think it will be when he graduates. Maybe he comes in basketball to the Cajuns!
