He played last year for FIU but only got in 3 games so he can still redshirt in 2018

The 6-5, 350-pound Humphrey was the highest-rated recruit in the history of FIU football, when he signed in December of 2017.

He was expected to be paired with another four-star JUCO defensive tackle in Teair Tart and make an immediate impact last season.

While Tart excelled towards the end of last season, Humphrey struggled with consistency and part of a defensive line rotation in 2018.

Humphrey struggled with weight and conditioning issues during the early part of last season and was noted by the FIU staff as needing to have a strong spring practice.

He can play this year because he won't be on scholarship until August. But he has conditioning concerns and needs to show he is committed to the process.

Actually he would be fine with stuffed pork chops, most of these kids that play sports and still have weight problems is from fast food and processed junk.
