Good for Jake, he was never really going to be considered at UL, he has a chance to go to Berry and get a degree and potentially play. Berry is a private Christian Liberal Arts College outside of Rome, Ga. The campus is beautiful, I actually played in a tennis tournament their many years ago.

Good luck to Jake, I hope he can go their and succeed.

Looking at their roster, they do lose their starting QB from last year Addock as he was a SR last year. They have a rising SR who played in all 12 games Heath Burchfield who only completed around 50% of his passes and had 6 TD's and 3 INT's.

They have 3 other QB's on their roster with extremely limited experience. I hope it works out for Jake at Berry.

Berry plays in Division III for all football, the finished 10-2 last season, they lost 75-9 in the second round of the ___I playoffs.

Agreed. With the talent coming in and with Naps seemingly eye for the best talent period, it would seem the writing is on the wall for some .

Yeah, with new signees and transfers, I dont see a path to 85 spots without a lot of current players not having their scholarships renewed.

I love how CBN and his staff are unapologetically creating quality depth by any means necessary.

Im still baffled how Napier can navigate the NCAA scholly rules.

But hopefully we can bring in some exp and clean up a lot of the mistakes from last year

The answer is sabanomics.. how to find loop holes and skirt. Legally until NCAA shuts it down

I think he is just very smart with what he can do. This week he added Brenndan Johnson a former starter at UTSA at a position where we have very little depth and are week and probably assisted Jake in transferring to a school where he can play at a position where we are extremely deep, numbers wise at least.
