Somehow miller is convincing these kids that Arizona is free and clear. Who knows what happens next

Arizona needs to acquire more politicians.

Felt like way longer. I always liked Courtney Lee though.

Arguably a top 5 Conference player of all time. I loved to hate him but it was only because of the jersey he wore. I don’t remember him being much of a showboat or loud mouth...just a baller.

    Roughly 17 guys.

Roughly 17 guys that were not starters at Arizona are significant contributors in the league today?

I'm not sure where we are getting to whether they were starters or not. I mentioned several from other programs. Arizona has been in the top 5 of recruiting for nearly every year of the last decade. I just mentioned that they recruit many of the same types of players as Duke and Kentucky. They are currently ranked 3rd for 2019 with one of the best point guards in the country committed.

The original quote you replied to me about was me saying Arizona ain’t Kentucky or duke. I was replying to MAT when I said that. Only cause he said he could name countless nba players that were backups from duke and Kentucky. I’m not sure there are any backups from those schools in the league right now that contribute at the NBA level. I hope that makes sense 😂🤣

Without cross referencing all of Kentucky's rosters in recent years to current NBA rosters, I can say that they've likely had some that are in the league. I mentioned one earlier in Skal Labissiere. You look at the talent on those Kentucky teams in recent years and its not that hard to believe. Duke is different because while they have had top rated classes, i think a lot of that is smoke and mirrors. They tend to get 2-3 big time guys every year who are playmakers but always seem to get a couple of highly rated guys who don't pan out. It's always odd for me to see a team like Duke who consistently is ranked in the top 3 in recruiting every single year but always seems to have one of the shortest benches for all the big schools.

Again, the whole non starter to NBA thing does happen. It may not be "countless" guys as mentioned before but there are plenty you can note. Zack Collins of Gonzaga is another guy who is a major contributor for Portland and he was not a starter.

No one doubts that 1 and done talents like Zach Collins can make the league, whether they were starters or bench/role players...they are drafted on pure potential and most likely would’ve gone straight from high school if allowed..what we’re debating is players like Jordan Brown in the title...guys who are not 1 and done talents and their chances of making the league when they only play limited minutes in college for 4 years

If you can play they will find you wherever you go to school. If you can’t cut in the nba they will get rid of you In a second regardless of what basketball factory you came out of. I think
In today’s world where everyone has film, almost every game streamed and Scouts everywhere at these tournaments if you can play you will get a shot.

I agree with this...and the first gauge of if you can play (after multiple years of college) is “could you even sniff the court in college?”...
