The Lady Cajuns softball team will face Drake, Arkansas, Southern Miss, Eastern Illinois and Iowa State as it heads to Fayetteville, Ark. to participate in the Razorback Invitational this weekend, March 5-7.
•The Cajuns will wrap up a 15-game road streak as they head to Fayetteville, Ark. to participate in the Razorback Invitational, March 5-7. UL will face Drake, Arkansas, Eastern Illinois, Southern Miss and Iowa State.
•It will be the first meeting for Cajuns against Drake and Arkansas under co-head coaches Stefni and Michael Lotief. The Lotiefs are 16-0 against the rest of the competition, including a 13-0 record against Southern Miss.
•The Cajuns will face Iowa State for the second time this season after claiming a 6-5 win in eight innings at the Houston Marriott Invitational on Feb. 19.
•After hitting four home runs in one inning against No. 20 UMass, seven players have accounted for Louisiana's 21 home runs this season. Christi Orgeron posted two in the 13-run fourth inning and leads the team with seven. Gabriele Bridges is next on the squad with six, knocking out two against No. 6 Missouri.
•After going 4-for-4 against the No. 20 Minutewomen, Erikka Murphy leads UL with 18 hits. She is also a perfect 10-for-10 on steals and ranks second on the squad with 16 runs scored.
•As a team the Cajuns are 32-33 on stolen bases. The last time a Cajuns got caught stealing was in the fourth inning of the second game of the year against Bradley (2/13). Since then the Cajuns have successfully stolen 26-of-26 bases.
