This great news indeed! And, we are getting an influx of very talented HS players.

It thrills me that our softball coaches have the ability to identify and recruit very talented high school players.

She is coming here specifically to play for Roberts again. I’m sure they will get to work early and she will be in good form for some fall ball and top form for the spring opener.

Two quick notes, maybe someone else has more information. Kleist had to finish her last semester at Oregon. Now it's a formality that she has to be accepted into graduate school at UL, so that's just a matter of getting her final transcripts to UL. She is headed to Lafayette and has told the staff she will be here. She also has been telling her teammates on social media she is committed to playing with them. I'm not sure what some Cajun fans want outside of a promissory note. Can she decide not to play this year, yes as a graduate student she doesn't have to play and just focus on academics. But that's highly unlikely considering the competitive nature of the kid.
