Softball adds 3 Transfers

I forgot, what the transfer sit out situation in softball?

If it's the usual, I'm guessing Mia Camuso will be eligible to start right away since she sat out in 19' and Melissa Mayeux too as she is coming from JC.

Is it all a wash and all 3 can start?

Mayeux at SS or 3rd base? Dalton remains at SS or moves to 3rd base? We will have to get her "cousins" from Eunice and other parts of Acadiana to make her feel welcome.

She was finishing her undergrad if she transferred it would have pushed that back a year. Now she will enroll as a grad student in environmental science.

Jay, do you ever remember us having a pair of All-American pitchers on the team together? I looked but couldn't find where we ever had two that had already been named AA's at some point. Its rare that we even had 2 that would become AA's on much less that they've both been named NFCA AA's

No, I don't. Although I thought Cathy McAllister (with Stef) was good enough to be an AA. In our previous CWS appearances that involved an All-American (Kyla, Cheryl, Brooke, Ashley), we didn't have a second pitcher the caliber of Summer. Although those behind them were pretty damned good.

The fact Kleist was a FIRST TEAM All-American bodes well for a helluva 1-2 punch.

This great news indeed! And, we are getting an influx of very talented HS players. Now, if Coach G and Dr. M can work some magic with our schedule next year....we will be good to Geaux!
