Does that validate that we went 1-2 against them? Should we feel better about our season because a team we went 1-2 against pushed the #1 overall seed to the if necessary game? Just curious.

And were they really damn good? They finished at 95 in the RPI at selection time. They were 10-17 against the RPI top 100.

My post had no ulterior motive. You had dumbasses on this board insulting people like Dad04, Cajun90 and other stitch heads for suggesting that LMU was a quality opponent. Which of course, was ridiculous. My only point was that they turned out to be a good baseball team. Good staff, tough roster. IDGAF what their RPI was, they made it to the final game of a regional and held their own, especially considering it was against the #1 overall seed. Average teams aren't doing that.
