As UL's football team opened spring drills Wednesday, the opportunity for some players was met with mixed emotions.

For example, defensive end Terrell Richardson was definitely excited to get back on the field. The problem was that the senior didn't particularly enjoy being in only a helmet and shorts for the first two days of practice.
