Evidently, considering the results, we don't pay nearly enough.

ehh might be worth it... We could maybe make the tournament

Just route the money through a church then they route it to a needy family who happens to be kin to the recruit.

If HS kids start signing professionally out of HS, if will dilute the eilte talent pool in NCAAB, but it will restore some order. Team basketball will return, crowds will undoubtedly return (they'll be able to follow teams for 3-4 years like we used to) and post season basketball would be about the competition again, not the showcase for Mr. 1 and done.
the problem is scholarships....ncaa claims (and is right) one and done is not a college rule. but used to be that your scholarship spot remained occupied if you left early, i.e. you couldnt be replaces with another scholarship player right away. not sure when it changed,

You can declare for the draft and still retail eligibility. The deadline for this draft is upcoming. There have been rumors that Zion was going to return to Duke after the Pelicans got the #1 pick in the draft. As long as you don't hire an agent and do so before the deadline, you can go back to college.

There's that rumor, and then there's an actual interview with his stepfather saying he's not going back to Duke. I'm sure that rumors are more valid than actual people in close proximity to him saying the exact opposite.

All of the speculation about Zion not playing for the Pelicans came from the national media. Not one word in this regard came from his camp or locally media. National media made this all up simply based upon his facial expression at the lottery.
