A guy with a career average of .189 and a fielding percentage of .951 is a game changer? Damn, what does that say about the guys that hit over .200 have a fielding percentage higher than .951?

Plenty has been said about Kasuls, for just that reason. Take him out with Windham and where we at? Probably under 20 wins.

We had a precious few players driving the bus. Losing one makes a difference on a roster with otherwise ankle deep talent. Windham would have hit .250ish with some pop, vacuumed everything near 3B and made SS better defensively. 3B was a black hole this year. Windham could be an all-conf. type player.

Yes, that is why the coaching staff chose Loch to start the season at third.

Roster lists him as an Infielder.

Yes, and what a stroke of brilliance that was, as he hit a whopping .170ish with a ton of errors. Yet another example of pathetic coaching evaluation.

Before he caught the flu and was replaced by Wimdham he was 7 for 27 - 260 with 4 doubles. After Wimdham got hurt he shat the bed for like 42 consequetive at bats. Hard to come out of and he never really did.

Coaches doing stupid stuff is also a factor not discussed on coaches shows.

It's a sad situation. He gave it all he could.

Agreed. I felt very bad for him as he is an awesome kid with really awesome parents. He definitely gave it all he had with his back issues. Hated to see him go out on such a bad season.

How many errors are a ton? He had a fielding percentage of .937. Batting average of .170
