No the face saving coaches got into different careers. You might be thinking of the successful assistants like Schef and Deggs.

Maybe you’ve ignored my posts that I absolutely think he deserves more time. At the same time I’m concerned that more time isn’t going to help because his biggest recruiting failures have been under Talbot whose actually gotten more entrenched in the recruiting process.

You mean mike Trahan, who left for the private sector. Simoneaux, Scefz and deggs all left for better situations or moves up. I’m all about discussion but lets do that with facts. We know tony is a good baseball coach, that same concern would be there with a new guy as well. It’s all unknown

I’m pretty sure we said the same, except I didn’t explicitly say that the successful assistants left for promotions. That was a given as almost everyone on the site knows that.

So you’re comfortable with Talbot being Robe’s most important talent gatherer. That’s fine.

Historically Robichaux is in rare air 1100 plus wins, ranked in top 54 all time with realistic chance to get to top 15. In the top 54 his percentage of wins is.611 one of the lower winning percentage in top 54, but some actually with more wins in the upper fifty percentile. The point is longevity matters in some of the records.

a lot is riding on the shoulders of JT for this program. The fall and spring should be interesting to say the least.

It doesn’t matter if I’m comfortable with talbot or not. I trust tony as the head coach and if he wants Talbot on staff that’s his choice. It’s his job, not mine.

Bingo.. Another season like the past 4 years and the hammer will drop. We must win conference, make tourney, and make a splash... nothing we say, think, or assert will change the course of this.program. it's all in Robes hands .

WCD, are you out on Tony?

All the way up to the start of construction we were in the silent phase, and turns out we were well short of the fundraising goals, silently. After all, if it's silent no one can hold you accountable and you won't get bashed by your constituents.

I'd like to look up the historical posts about Szecf as I'm pretty sure he was often blasted as a hitting coach.
