Louisiana men's basketball coach Bob Marlin brought back a familiar face to both the Ragin' Cajuns and Sun Belt Conference as he announced on Tuesday the addition of Brock Morris as an assistant coach.
Two of his players recently signed with the Ragin’ Cajuns.
Now the UL basketball team has officially announced the hiring of former Cajuns staffer Brock Morris as an assistant coach
Question: With Brock's impressive resume, why the heck did we let him get away in the first place?
Encouraged him to expand his career.
Awesome, now lets make it Happen Captain!
His resume was not so impressive when he left. He had to move on to create it Six years ago, he was not ready to be an assistant coach at a D1 school with major recruiting responsibilities. Now he comes back with experience as a JUCO assistant, D1 assistant, and JUCO head coach. His teams also had lots of success in most of those years he was away. Personally I hope he gets a D1 head job in a reasonable amount of time. All of the assistants of his age have that as a goal. If he reaches it, we will have had success here.
